Park Ji-hoo has been a recurring face and favorite actor for Korean drama lovers. This is not because she’s got such a beautiful sweet face alone, but because she knows just the right thing to do anytime to grab the viewers’ attention anytime she slips into one role or two. Although she is what you’d call a relatively young player in K-drama, being a teenage actress, the Daegu-native has proven that she is definitely not in Hallyuwood to play around.
In less than six years since she took her first acting job in “Home Without Me,” Ji-hoo has built an outstanding track record, with excellence being the lead word in all of her exploits. Coupled with being titled a multiple-award-winning actress, the teen actress has completed her high school education with a certificate from Dongmoon High School in February 2022. This is coming after the young TV star got accepted into the Department of Theatre and Film, Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea.
Her relatively new-long career that began in 2016 might be news to Park’s lovers who only just met her as Nam On-Jo in the increasingly popular Netflix series, All of Us Are Dead. However, her leading roles did not just start yesterday or today. In fact, her first leading role came with “House of Hummingbird’s” Eun-hee back in 2018. It is this particular TV series that has earned all the multiple awards that she currently possesses. This includes a Best New Star Awards for Best New Actress, a Cine21 Awards, Director’s Cut Awards, Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, London East Asia Film Festival, and Wildflower Film Festival – all awards for Best New Actress and a Best Actress Award at the Tribeca Film Festival. Coming later in 2022 is yet another chance for the Korean actress to star in Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women.
